New Nashville SC head coach B.J. Callaghan won’t officially take over until later this month, but he’s already begun the process of establishing himself, sharing strategies with interim head coach Rumba Munthali and developing relationships with players.

Callaghan, a former U.S. men’s national team assistant, was named the second head coach in franchise history on July 2, replacing the fired Gary Smith after four full MLS seasons plus 12 games this year.
