Nashville SC will open the Major League Soccer playoffs Monday, Oct. 30, at 6 p.m. at Orlando SC, but the Boys in Gold won’t enter the postseason with the kind of momentum they’d hoped.

Nashville fell 1-0 to the New York Red Bulls in the team’s regular-season finale Saturday at Geodis Park, surrendering a penalty kick in the 94th minute following a poor tackling decision by midfielder Anibal Godoy.
