Nashville SC gearing up for MLS is Back opener

The Nashville Soccer Club plans to head to Orlando on Wednesday morning in preparation for the MLS is Back Tournament set to take place at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex.

Nashville opens the tournament on July 8 against the Chicago Fire, a club it is already familiar with after falling 3-1 to the Fire during the preseason. In that meeting, Abu Danladi and Dom Badji were battling for the starting center forward job and wingers David Accam and Daniel Rios both saw limited action in returns from injuries as the club worked to find its identity.
