Last season, a two-goal deficit would have been more than enough to do Nashville SC in on most nights.

But in Saturday’s season-opening 2-2 draw against FC Cincinnati at Nissan Stadium, there was an overwhelming feeling the club simply wasn’t out of it. Strikers Jhonder Cadiz and Randall Leal erased a 2-0 deficit — the largest overcome in the NSC’s brief MLS history — and earned the club its first-ever point in a season opener.
