The Tennessee Department of Revenue has canceled a rule change hearing scheduled for Feb. 25 that would have addressed a proposed change of sales tax collection rules suggested by the administration of now former Gov. Phil Bredesen to entice Amazon.com to locate two distribution centers in Tennessee.

A spokeswoman for the Tennessee Department of Revenue said Commissioner Richard Roberts had called off the meeting due to "the directive of Governor Haslam's 45-day freeze on any new regulations and rules as part of the top to bottom review of state government."
