Melanie Balcomb’s run as Vanderbilt women’s basketball coach has ended, The Tennessean reported Tuesday.

The newspaper cited an unnamed source who said recent drops in wins and attendance at home games led to the decision to replace the winningest coach in program history after 14 seasons.
