Provence ceases operations

Provence Breads & Cafe — a Hillsboro Village institution of sorts and one of the first tenants in a then-emerging Gulch in the mid-1990s — will cease operations by business day’s end.

Post sister publication Nashville Scene reports the Provence stores in both the Village and within the Nashville Main Library are impacted by the closing, a reason for which has not yet been disclosed.
