Tennessee issued approximately $244 million in tax breaks to nearly 2,000 companies in fiscal year 2025, according to a state Department of Revenue report released in December.

Though the report doesn’t list the exact companies that benefited, tax incentives were claimed by 1,717 companies, with 1,322 instances of companies claiming more than $66 million in industrial machinery credits.
