Senate Dems pick Yarbro, Akbari to lead

The five-member Democratic caucus in the state Senate on Tuesday picked Nashville Sen. Jeff Yarbro as minority leader and Memphis Sen. Raumesh Akbari as caucus chair.

The caucus has three new members for the upcoming legislative session, including Akbari.
