Poll: Corker approval higher among Democrats

A new poll of Tennessee voters found support for Republican U.S. Sen. Bob Corker in a surprising place: among Democrats.

Tennessee Democrats approve of Corker by a 49 percent-41 percent margin, while his approval among Republicans is just 35 percent, with 55 percent disapproving. The polling, conducted by Florida-based Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy earlier this month, came after Corker in September announced he would not seek re-election.
