Beaman Park — which spans more than 2,300 acres in Northwest Davidson County — is getting even bigger.

Mayor Freddie O’Connell Friday announced Metro’s acquisition of 300 acres of forest adjoining the existing Beaman Park, an effort that comes as an attempt to protect Nashville’s Highland Rim Forest from redevelopment.
