Lawmakers agree to vague recommendations for third-party ballot access

After years of debate and lawsuits, a special Senate committee is suggesting legislators consider different thresholds for third parties to earn space on the ballot.

The move came after debate between members of a politically mixed study committee over making recommendations or shuffling the issue untouched to another committee.
