Former state GOP chair joins Lee campaign

Former Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Chris Devaney has joined Franklin businessman Bill Lee’s Republican campaign for governor as campaign manager and senior advisor.

Devaney (pictured) was chair of the state Republican Party from 2009-15 after working for then-U.S. Sens. Fred Thompson and Phil Gramm. Most recently, he led a Christian mission organization focused on Haiti.
