Along with approving Metro’s all-encompassing $3.8 billion budget, the Metro Council gave its approval to a $9 million budget related to downtown’s Central Business Improvement District.

The funding came after the council rejected it earlier this month, citing concerns involving the Nashville Downtown Partnership (NDP), the entity that operates many of the services provided in the tax district and that has landed the funding.
