With its first at-large invitation to and first victory in the NCAA Tournament, Belmont turned into a cash cow for the Ohio Valley Conference.

According to an Associated Press analysis, Rick Bryd’s team produced roughly $3.4 million for the conference that it normally would not get. That money will be paid out over six years with the first installment to be delivered in 2020.
