Nashville Christian School defensive tackle Brant Lawless is the Division II-A Mr. Football winner.

The 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman beat out two others, including teammate Xavier Myers, for the award. NCS was the only school with two finalists and Lawless, who has committed to the University of Tennessee, was the only player from a Nashville high school to claim the honor.
