Local reps respond to GOP health care plan

House Republicans released their long-awaited plan to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act Monday night, and while it’s taking criticism from both sides of the aisle, Tennessee Republicans in Washington were mostly supportive Tuesday.

The two components of the plan, collectively dubbed the “American Health Care Act,” have not been scored by the Congressional Budget Office, which would analyze the number of people expected to gain or lose insurance coverage under the law as well as how much it would cost.
