Franklin-based Transition Healthcare, which is run by former Cambio CEO Tom Reardon, is pushing the receiver of a struggling Rhode Island hospital for a chance to present its turnaround plan. But Landmark Medical Center's leadership want to forge ahead with plans to sell to Caritas Christi out of Boston, which last week agreed to sell to private-equity firm Cerberus. And the local union isn't keen on Transition either.
