Former state senator slammed for misleading public

Vanderbilt University has announced that Harry Jacobson, vice chancellor for health affairs, will retire in June.

Jacobson has manned the helm of the medical center side of the university since 1997. During that time, the complex has experienced a great deal of growth with the addition of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, as well as the more recent expansion into the 100 Oaks area.
