Vanderbilt University Medical Center will get six to 10 electric vehicle charging stations as part of ECOtality's The EV Project.

The EV Project is the largest deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure in history and in Tennessee will connect Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville with a network of charging stations. The pilot phase of the project, of which VUMC is a part, will include more than 15,000 stations by June 2011 in 16 cities.
