Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz announced yesterday the addition of six attorneys in Nashville, bringing the local complement to 84 lawyers. Firmwide, Baker Donelson has more than 530 lawyers.Thomas Hall is now of counsel to the firm's technology law group. During the past 20 years, Hall served with Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, was in-house counsel at Wausau Insurance and maintained a solo practice in Wisconsin.The firm's new associates are Marnee Baker, Laura Williams, John Exner, Lori Metrock and Corey Stringer.Baker and Williams are in the litigation group. Baker previously served as an assistant Attorney General with the Tennessee Attorney General. She earned her J.D. at Washington University School of Law in 2002 and her bachelor's at Smith College in 1997.Williams earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee School of Law earlier this year, and earned her bachelor's at Tusculum College in 2004.John Exner joins the labor and employment practice. He earned his J.D. at St. Mary's University School of Law this year, and his bachelor's at Trinity University in 2003.Metrock will focus on securities and corporate governance. She earned her J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School in 2007, and her Vanderbilt bachelor's in 2003.Stringer concentrates real estate and construction law, a field in which he has worked since 2001, in California and Tennessee. He earned his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University School of Law; and, his bachelor's at Michigan State University in 1998.
