Business Facilities magazine has selected Nashville as the nation’s number one metropolitan area for corporate headquarters in its upcoming July issue.

According to a Nashville Chamber release, the ranking of “The 20 Hot Headquarters Metros for the 21st Century” relied on data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago to measure the success of U.S. cities in attracting corporate headquarters, based on growth in the number of headquarters relative to their population bases. The rankings were based on headquarters of publicly traded companies with 2,500 or more employees worldwide.
