HealthStream CFO to step down

Longtime HealthStream CFO Gerard Hayden plans to resign from his post early next year and will be succeeded by the health care education and workforce training company’s vice president of accounting and finance.

Hayden, 63, has led the finance team of downtown-based HealthStream since May 2008. He has told his bosses he will put in his last day after filing HealthStream’s 2018 annual report with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which is expected in March. Hayden’s resignation is not because of any disagreements with his peers or the company as a whole and he plans to stay involved with HealthStream as a senior executive advisor.
