One of the nine members of HealthStream’s board of directors has told the health education and training company he will resign his seat at the end of this work week.

Martin Harris, chief business officer of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas, has been a director of downtown-based HealthStream since 2010. Despite his 11-year tenure on the board, the 64-year-old is actually the most "junior" director of the company along with Administrative Office of the Courts Director Deborah Taylor Tate, who was elected at the same time. The other seven board members have held their seats since 2005 or earlier. Before moving to Texas, Harris was CIO of the Cleveland Clinic.
