Flyte to close after 13-year run

Driving down Eighth Avenue South, I recently began wondering how long Flyte World Dining & Wine would be able to hang on in this current environment of rising rents and increased competition for diners’ dollars. Now, after a conversation with Flyte co-owner Scott Atkinson, we know the answer. Flyte recently informed staff that the fine dining spot’s final service will be Saturday, June 22.

Unfortunately, this doesn't come as a huge surprise for the Gulch-based restaurant located at 718 Division St.
