Tennessee State lands $1M Bank of America grant

Bank of America officials announced Thursday a $1 million grant to Tennessee State University, with the funds to support a jobs initiative partnership for students of color.

According to a release, the grant will help TSU officials develop and enhance existing programs related to job preparation and placement. Bank of America will work alongside Nashville-based mobile device insurance and tech services company Asurion to ensure the programs target specific hiring needs and create for students a “clearly defined career pathway to future employment.”
