Brentwood-based Quorum Health Corp. has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement with QKA Health Corp., a move that will enable the organization to transition from a for-profit corporation to a nonprofit health system.  

Quorum Health (QHC) provides hospital and outpatient services in rural and mid-sized communities and has operated under a private equity-backed model.
