The Tennessee State Parks Conservancy has announced Alex Wyss as its executive director.

According to a release, Wyss has more than 30 year of experience in conservation and fundraising. Since November 2023, he has served as the deputy executive director under former executive director Gina Hancock, whom he now succeeds. Hancock is now senior advisor for the organization and will still guide strategy and fundraising efforts.
