Pat Shea, founder and CEO of Nashville Police + Public Safety Alliance and a former YWCA leader, has announced her plans to retire by the end of the year.

Shea founded the nonprofit in 2024 in an effort to reduce crime, increase community engagement and partnerships around public safety, and provide support to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
