Energy technology provider Nextpower announced a major Tennessee expansion Wednesday — doubling its capacity in Memphis and opening a Southeast operations hub in Nashville. 

Based in Fremont, California, the company (Nasdaq: NXT) provides power generation systems for solar power plants and works with, among other partners, Nashville-based Silicon Ranch Corp.
