Littlejohn adds transportation director

Littlejohn Engineering Associates has added Joe Carpenter as director of transportation in the company’s Nashville office.

Formerly assistant commissioner of environment and planning for the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Carpenter led the department’s Project Planning, Long-Range Planning, Multimodal Transportation Resources and Environment divisions, as well as its technical staff.  Prior to that, he was assistant chief engineer of design, overseeing TDOT’s Design, Right-of-Way and Structures divisions.
