Nashville-based infusion provider Local Infusion has announced the closing of a $10 million Series A funding round.

The company, led by founder and CEO Woody Baum, was founded in Nashville last year with $4 million in seed funding and infusion clinics in Maine and New Hampshire. The new investment will allow Local Infusion to expand to New Jersey, Connecticut and Maryland next year while also continuing to develop the company's proprietary referral and care coordination technology, according to a release.
