Nashville General leads $120M settlement with Momenta, Sandoz

Two weeks before their dispute was scheduled to go to trial, a billion-dollar pharmaceutical company and its distributor have agreed to a $120 million settlement in an antitrust class action lawsuit led by the governing body of Nashville General Hospital. 

Massachusetts-based Momenta Pharmaceutical will owe $35 million as part of the settlement, the company said in a recent filing with regulators. New Jersey-based distributor Sandoz Inc. will be responsible for the other $85 million.
