Franklin-based Community Health Systems announced Tuesday that its subsidiary, CHS/Community Health Systems, Inc. has completed the sale of select assets to Labcorp for approximately $194 million cash.  

With the transaction, North Carolina-based Labcorp (NYSE: LH) acquires the ambulatory outreach laboratory services of CHS facilities and leases in 13 states. These include patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations.
