The development team behind The Landings project in River North has released some new images of their plans.

The Landings will consist of an update to an existing industrial building and the construction of residential buildings, each to stand seven stories, according to a recent community meeting. The buildings, to be called The Oxbow and The Wayward, will comprise a collective 651 residential units and about 43,000 square feet of ground-level retail space. Preliminary work on the project has started.
