One of Nashville’s oldest and most distinctive small office buildings has hit the market with an asking price of $2.1 million.

Located at 28 Middleton St. in Rutledge Hill and within the general SoBro district, the two-story structure was built in the Italianate style and opened in 1879 as a residence, according to a LoopNet listing. Across Middleton sits the Nashville Children’s Theatre.
