A West Davidson County property once eyed for a landfill has sold for $2.04 million, with the new owner seemingly set to pursue a townhome development at the site.

Located at 7848 McCrory Lane, the roughly 42-acre property offers primarily trees and what some locals call Hutton Lake — water that filled a portion of the former rock quarry (sometimes called the Bellevue Quarry).
