Following a citizen group filing a lawsuit seeking a work stoppage on the under-construction Cheekwood Estate & Gardens Parking Pavilion and Welcome Plaza, officials with the West Nashville cultural attraction continue to seek citizen support, noting future operations could be significantly negatively impacted, and likely ended, if the court rules in favor of the plaintiffs.

As the Post reported July 1, Neighbors for Safety BMH (Belle Meade Highlands) filed the lawsuit in Davidson County Chancery Court, contending Metro is improperly allowing Cheekwood officials to work on the parking facility.
