Caden team buys 'Tennessean' property

A local real estate investment group including veteran developer Jim Caden this week acquired some Tennessean property in The Gulch for $6.3 million.

The property has an address of 1100 McGavock St. (a building, pictured, in which houses newsprint) and also includes a small surface parking lot located across from the newspaper’s home and main entrance at 1100 Broadway. The Tennessean, which first reported the transaction, is in the process of moving its operations, with the sale following similar sales to both Highwoods Properties and Caden’s group in 2017.
