Historic downtown structure sells for $22.1M

Downtown’s stately Castner-Knott Building and a separate parking structure that services it have sold for a collective $27.2 million.

The new owner of the mixed-use building — located at 618 Church St. and listed on the National Register of Places — and the garage is 618 HCK LLC, which is affiliated with a New York based real estate firm for which the Post was unable to determine details at publication time. The sellers of the two properties were entities affiliated with local businessman and real estate investor Mike Shmerling.
