Affordable apartments eyed for Madison-area site

A Louisville-based developer that is undertaking a 240-unit affordable housing apartment project on West Trinity Lane is prepping to move forward on a similar large-scale development to be located within the general area.

LDG Development eyes the $45 million 260-unit project on 18.2 acres at 3711 Dickerson Pike and near Madison. To be called Buffalo Trail Apartments and offer units priced under $1 per foot, the project is tentatively slated for a March 2018 start, according to Evan Holladay, LDG Development manager.
