A Texas-based company that owns a small chain of Tex-Mex restaurants has tapped 12South for one of its first two locations outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Mesero Restaurant Group will open Mesero during the year's third quarter on the second floor of two-story retail and restaurant building 12 South Collection, with an address of 2803 12th Ave. S., according to a Metro permit.
