Cracker Barrel shareholders vote to retain CEO on board

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store shareholders have elected nine of 10 of the company's board of directors nominees, with diversity equity and inclusion advocate Gilbert Dávila having resigned his board seat following the recent logo, menu and store update debacle.

Relatedly, CEO Julie Felss Masino — who faced the ire of conservative critics for overseeing what they felt were unnecessary, and since-scrapped, DEI-fueled changes — retained her seat on the board, according to a company release.
