Stout to step down at J. Alexander's

The only CEO J. Alexander's restaurants have ever had will soon step aside to have the company's CFO step up to the top job.

Lonnie Stout, 72, will make the move into an executive chairman role May 1, when Mark Parkey — who has been with J. Alexander's in various financial roles since 1993 — will take over. In addition, the leaders of West End-based J. Alexander's will then promote Controller and Chief Accounting Officer Jessica Hagler to CFO.
