Baptist Hospital has purchased the da Vinci Si High Definition Surgical System, an advanced robotic system that helps surgeons perform more accurate, less invasive procedures. The system will be used for gynecological and prostate surgeries.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Centennial Medical Center installed the high-def system in October.
