A little more than a year after it opened, First Tennessee Park’s impact on downtown is so profound that others already want to follow Nashville’s example.

According to a Time Warner Cable News report, the owner of the San Antonio Missions, a Double-A team in the Texas League, has told officials in that city he would bring a Triple-A team to town if he could get a downtown venue similar to the new home of the Nashville Sounds.
