Saffold unsung key to prolific Titans rushing attack

As with most weeks this season, the Tennessee Titans’ regular-season finale on Sunday was the Derrick Henry show. The star running back became just the eighth player in NFL history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a single season, among a slew of other notable statistical feats. Henry has even been on the periphery of MVP chatter, a rarity amongst non-quarterbacks in this pass-happy era of the NFL.

The offense hasn’t been solely reliant on Henry, either. The Titans are the first team in NFL history with a 2,000-yard rusher and a 3,500-yard passer in the same season. Ryan Tannehill has been putting up numbers to rival any quarterback in the league and receiver A.J. Brown was named to the Pro Bowl alongside Henry.
