Higher ed leader joining Bradley

Tennessee Higher Education Commission Executive Director Mike Krause is stepping down to join law firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings as a senior government affairs and economic development adviser.

Krause was appointed executive director in 2016 under then-Gov. Bill Haslam. Prior to his appointment, he served on Haslam’s senior staff and was the director of Tennessee Promise, a free college program hailed as the first of its kind.
