Titans to induct Chris Johnson into Ring of Honor at season opener

Announcement comes less than month after team's former star running back went public with ALS diagnosis

Former Titans running back Chris Johnson will be inducted into the franchise’s Ring of Honor at halftime of the Sept. 13 season opener at Nissan Stadium.

The announcement comes less than a month after Johnson, 40, went public with the news he had been diagnosed in 2025 with ALS, a progressive disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
