One of the underlying stories of Nashville SC’s victory at Red Bull New York on Wednesday was the return of midfielder Patrick Yazbek.

When Yazbek entered the game in the 70th minute, it marked the first time he had played since May 5, when the Australian native suffered a lower body-injury that knocked him out of the next 12 contests — including nine MLS games.
